Careful !!! It seems great but it’s not. I’ve worked as a teacher in Luxembourg and left after 1.5 years . The taxation in any of these countries can be 20-30%!! Also, many European schools do not offer accommodation or flights home, like they do in Asia and the Middle East. In Luxembourg for example , as a single person you’re taxed more !! 30% on tax, 30% on rent …with 30-40% of the salary left …you can hardly afford to pay bills and live . Not a chance when it comes to saving . Be careful , HIGH SALARIES BUT ALSO VERY HIGH COST OF LIVING IN ALL THESE 5 countries !!!

I spent 6 years in Switzerland, and I can say that your facts are mostly right, although there are some teachers who can earn more. I now live in DC. Salary for first-year teachers with no experience in any field with a bachelor's is $60k. Depending on years of teaching and degrees, teachers easily make over $100k/year, not including bonuses which can be as high as $25k/year. There are plenty of private, charter, international, high-performing community-based schools---as well as schools with academically-challenged students from which to choose. In a country like the US, it is far more sensible to break down salaries by states. California is larger than Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Luxembourg combined and teachers make around $90k/year. Same can be said for New York.

But the cost of living in those countries are humongous so better to teach in Asian countries with lesser salary but much lower cost of living.. Salary in Asian countries could be three to four times lower but the cost of living is 10 times lower as well...

No... don't even try being a teacher in Indonesia... Teacher payments here... won't even be enough to let you live to pay for your electricity, water, food, etc...

Great video but don't these countries prefer native english speaking teachers and not prefer indians generally even if they have right qualifications or experience? Are they really open to indian nationalities and ready to sponsor their visas? Your candid response appreciated. Thanks!
